Fun, friends and a bit of French!
It is with great joy and enthousiasm that I announce the return of FRench Seasoning , 2026 edition!
Summer makes us want to relax, have fun and feel free. We spontaneously think of days at the beach, picnics, swimming and sunbathing, excursions, discoveries and weekend getaways to take in as much as we can of the glorious season shining briefly on our day to day life.
Last year, I wanted to offer an alternative to weekly, rigid and regulated summer and day camps for kids. I created FRench Seasoning for children to keep practicing French throughout the summer in a structured but flexible setting allowing families to plan for weekends and vacations. No sacrifice, no obligations, just good fun and company.
The structure is simple, adaptable and flexible. One, two or three days a week, FRench Seasoning is an activity program for young people aged 8 to 17 years old allowing them to practice the French language during summer while exploring the city and its attractions through cultural, social and recreational activities. Registrations are on a weekly basis, all different from one another. To cultivate curiosity and open horizons without having to travel, the Montreal region offers many options that we explore during the summer.
Are you curious about the program? Would you like an adult version of this immersive cultural experience? Check out cursomundo.com for more opportunities to learn and live languages and cultures throughout the year.
Born in Montreal, raised in a French-speaking family, I learned English before starting school. Endowed with an innate sense of organization, I have early childhood memories of putting things "in ordrer", classifying, organizing and reorganizing the furniture in my room, bookshelves, toys, etc.
Bilingual from a very young age, I have always had a curiosity for people and languages. One of my favorite things to play with was the globe, a spinning game of where I could go when I would be older, endless wonders to discover beyond the wrinkled surface of mountains and valleys under my fingers brushing the sphere turning in my hands. As a child, music was always part of my life. I learned how to play the piano listening to my mother in the livingroom and I would sing along in Creole, Spanish, French and English with my turntable in the basement where music would create images of places of fascinating landscapes and exotic beauties I had never seen.
Known to be a perfectionist and determined young student, I made it to university and studied psychosociology of communication, international cooperation and foreign languages. It was in education that I found the common thread of my professional journey. Since 2001, I have taught many subjects to young and mature students. I also participated in the coordination, organizational management and strategic development of local projects in France, Senegal, Nicaragua and, most recently, in Benin.
I want to speak and understand as many languages and people as possible in as many countries as possible. I believe that we are all connected somehow somewhere in the great scheme of things. Citizens of this world, we have much to learn from eachother and much more to gain from understanding one another. It is with passion and conviction that I hope to bring people closer, to learn, witness and create wonders, great and small, using the language as the vector of positive and radiant human experiences.
